Planning on a trip to Choke Canyon, Amistad and Falcon Lakes late February and early March. Where are some good places to stay that are reasonable price...I have a small dog so they must be pet friendly too. I know I have seen some places to stay for Falcon on the TFF...but not any for Choke Canyon. Thanks!

Try the Econo Lodge in Three Rivers. for Choke, and Falcon Hts. Motel for Falcon. I've seen guys bring their dogs to the FH Motel.

Anglers Lodge for Amistad...I think they'll do a pet sitting for you. Carl can help you out!

Calliham state park @ choke. It's a treat. You won't find a better view at any other place.

Anglers Lodge is the place to stay at Amistad. They have a great tackle shop, cafe, pet sitting, it's right next to the lake and they keep a close eye on the parking lot at night. Not to mention, they're great folks!

Here's their contact info:

On Falcon, Beacon Lodge is dirt cheap. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but they keep it clean, the A/C works and they have a ramp right there.

melbass,

Yes we are pet friendly here at Anglers Lodge and if you want to leave your little one in the room we will take him or her out to potty when the girls clean the room and again in the afternoon. We do it for all our little guest.
