Jones Brothers park in Jonestown can be very good at times. The park is free to anyone using it, unless you are launching a boat. Easy Street Marina is also a good place to fish. It has a enclosed fishing house with huge lights right above the water. Last time I was there, the fee to fish was $10.00. You can go to Lago Vista, and turn left on Lohmans crossing, go all the way to the end, and fish for free there. The LCRA park, Arkansas Bend is also down there, but I think they charge a day use fee. There are a couple of more LCRA parks on past Lago, Gloster Bend is one, where you pay a fee to enter, but they get a lot less fishing pressure. Since Travis has come up, the walk from the parking lot to the water isn't very far, and that area has some great grassy points that are underwater now.Over the last few weeks, I have caught some nice catfish, fishing the same type of structure. Most were caught in about 8' of water on Sure Shot punch bait.

Good luck

Mike
