Pondbass and i were talking and he mentioned something about stocked trout ponds during the cold months here in Texas...  Anyone know of one near the Dallas area? thanks! -Patrick

There's a page on TPWD that lists all stocked locations in Texas with dates dropped and quantities dropped.

i saw that they are stocking the Elm Fort Trinity River... Will i be able to access it by wading?

There's also this place in Aledo if you have money to spend. I just found out that my best friend's dad has a membership so I'm going to be checking it out soon and post some pics. I know there's been a post about it before. http://www.supremebassfishing.com/

simple trout flies are key (for me anyway)
woolly buggers, pheasnat tails, hares ears, and many more.
I got those from denison on an olive bugger
