I don't have a lot of experinece with this, so thought I would ask. How do you approach fishing a power plant lake in the winter? I assume the bass remain fairly shallow in the winter, then in the summer find the coolest water in the lake.

What methods and baits work best for you in the winter?

Smaller baits usually. Most of the time in power plant lakes, you are going to catch quantity, not quality. On some pp lakes, you can catch them in the discharge early and late. just go fishing good luck!
