Just looked , great site for schematics on this t motor. Thankyou so much, Hopefully i can get this figured out or just go get a 12volt t motor for this boat since a 24 volt really isnt needed on it. But it came with the boat so trying to get everything workng before putting it on the water for the first time. I like to have everything working right before getting on the water lol.
thanks
mark

The MOSFET went out in my MG TE-82 years ago, giving me only one speed, HIGH, thankfully at the time, it was covered under MG warranty.

If the MOSFET is out on your motor, you'll indeed probably be better off buying a new TM as those MOSFET switches are not cheap!!

well i hope thats not the case. not sure how that switch even works or a easy way to be able to troubleshoot that switch. I see its actually in the lower unit so would have to remove the bottom end to even get to it. Ill try and get to it today by looking at the schematics. Retired posted where they were so i found them and go from there

Mark.. replace it with a 24volt TM it doubles your run time because 24vt motors use less amps to produce the same power at the prop.

Ok figured it out. Started thinking it was hooked up backwards from the start to looked closer under the cover and found they or whoever has been under there messing around as well. so they had wires hooked to the wrong spade connectors on the circuit board as well, now it does what it supposed to do, basically started checking and found a main ground that had power on it till i hit the button lol. basically grounding out the system to full power all the time. I HATE FIXING OTHER PEOPLE SCREW UPS lol
Oh well its fixed now
