Went to Granbury to visit my parents and we tried a new place in town. Lake Granbury Marina opened a BYOB restaurant called Stumpy's off of 144. We all had the hamburger, which tells a lot about a restaurant, and it was great. Real meat, not frozen and you get to dress it. They also have a chip/salsa bar that was FREE with your meal. When we finished the meal, the owner showed up and nicely asked what we thought. We started talking and he let us try two of his TX gulf shrimp at which point I was mad I didn't get the PoBoy! They were awesome. Anyway, glad to see they have a new place on the water. Gonna be fun driving up there in the boat!

I will have to try it out. It's less than a mile from my house.

Hope the food and service is better than Grawgy Dogs! The first time I went there it was pretty good. My wife and I told her brother how good it was so he wanted to try it. About two weeks later we go back and it went to total [censored]. We haven't been back.

Thats about the only place you can get bait and fuel too. Mckelvey's (spelling?) and Indian Harbor are closed down? Boy things have changed since I have been there last.

You can get fuel at the Pecan Marina, and bait at the Produce Stand in Thorp Springs
