Are there any Sponsors of the TFF that sell these Optima Batteries? Looking for D27M or D31M. Please send me an email, thanks Happy New Year.

The Optima's are now made by Interstate Battery, they aren't the Optima's that were made in Colorado a few years ago which were very good. I would broaden your search and look at other brands..Deka's are good batteries for the money.

I'm done with Optima. I have 2 on my truck and 4 on my boat. All had to be replaced under 1 year. 3 were replaced on boat last month 2 are down now. Going to try to get them all replaced this week with something else, anything else would be better than what I getting out of these.

My shop battery that has to get the worst of treatment, is now over 6 years old. It gets bounced around from one customers boat to another, jump starting different equipment around the shop, used as a test battery for engines and other things. And the only time it gets recharged is when it's so dead that a
t-n-t won't raise or lower. It's still strong enough to start the most difficult of V-6's.
