Headed to rockport for new years, looking reds specs, or anything that bites. Taking the yaks or will wade fish, any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Reds are plentifull, trout not so much. Been a couple of weeks since my last trip. Reds were easy to come by in 2-3' of water on falling tides. 3" Gulp shrimp seemed to be the prefered bait. Read on another post that paddle tails had produced as well. Trout are most assuredly there, we caught lots of dinks. Finding the big ones may take some work and wading may be the ticket. Numerous launch points for the yaks, depending on where you want to fish. Let me know if you need suggestions/directions.
