Bass Pro usually gets the first chips, since they are a HUGE account for Navionics.

Do you get any discount if you are a current user? I have a Navionis chip in my HDS-8 but, don't see a need to update for another $150 unless I have to. If they offer current customers a deal on an update, that would be nice!

Does anybody know if academy has them yet, i got some gift cards from there and would like rouse them. Also will it say 2010 on the card and I heard that the 2010 was going to have a updated HD map of Rayburn and Toledo, does anyone know if this is true. If not no point in me getting a new card anyway. Thanks for all the help!

They should have 2010 on the packaging but if in question, you can always look on the chip itself for the model number. The 2010 model number is MSD/PREM-S6. The number 6 at the end is the key number to look for. That 6 means it's a 2010. 2009 was a 5, 2008 was a 4, etc...

No idea on the updates for 2010 for Toledo or Rayburn. I would call Navionics to find out for sure.

2010 Navionics will not be in Academy until late January. It will not be avavilable anywhere until after January 4th when it is scheduled to ship.

To answer the discount question, if you are a current Navionics customer. Yes, there is a trade in rebate available for the purchase of a new 2010 Navionics chart. Just simply purchase your new chart at a participating retailer, pick up a trade in envelope, fill it out, insert your old chart and mail to Navionics. A rebate check will be sent via the mail with 4-6 weeks.
