Just noticed this on the NOAA site. Unbelievable.......
A RECORD SNOWFALL OF 3.0 INCHES WAS SET AT DFW AIRPORT TODAY. THIS
IS THE FIRST MEASURABLE SNOWFALL ON RECORD FOR CHRISTMAS EVE. TRACE
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WERE PREVIOUSLY RECORDED ON DECEMBER 24 IN 1924...
1926...1943...1975...AND 2002.

Whoo Hoo! It was a pain for those on the road. The grandkids had fun belting me with snowballs. PaPa got in a couple of shots on them little boogers.

even in Illinois its hard to have a white christmas, nice to see one here this year.

We had our first recorded white christmas in Houston two years ago. Figured Dallas had had several. We drove up to Arlington yesterday and we are enjoying it. Merry Christmas everyone.

Guess I am the only one that hates this stuff.
Cool for the kiddo's I guess, but other than that it sucks. I'm with you... I was enjoying the nice 60 degree spell we were having. I hate cold weather and I hate ice and snow even more.

grew up in hawaii, christmas even went to cabellas and costco for a couple last minute errands and 3" had fallen in the 2 hours i was out... not fun! but was great to have a white Christmas, and my lab loved it
