Rigging up for crappie trolling. Need advise. I have purchased 2 rod racks, each rack has 4 rod holders. I am planning to rig my line with a tripple swivel and a barrel sinker. I am planning on attaching 2 lines on each rod, attached to the tripple swivel. How long should each line be that I attach to the swivel? Should I use a small sinker below the swivel?

i'm sure a few will chime in but if you get in touch w/ paul obier or even jerry. they could probably answer any question on trolling. i learned how to troll from paul. in my opinion they are the best in this area.

Do a search on here regarding trolling. There is a wealth of previously posted information including rigs.

Try this link I think that it will help http://www.texasfishingforum.com/.ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=007564#000002 it is the capps and coleman rig. To my understanding this is what most people are using.

Hey nats, The way you're going to do it should work just fine. There are a number of ways to slow troll but speed is the key. I use only one 1/4oz. jig and 6lb. stren its' the weight of the rig with the speed of the boat that keeps the rig down in the strike zone hope this helps. GoodLuck CrappieMaster
