Was on the lake this morning with jigs, tried the far NE creek, tried stumps, brush, bridge pilings ... nada. I need help from the jig gods. SO .. leave some minnows for me in the morning. That seems to be all I can catch anything on.

PS I'm bringing a case each of DP, Coke, Sprite, and Bottled water to the FF. So if ya don't have your own, your covered.

Ok everyone, the time is getting shorter, in the morning we are going to look like a fire drill with everyone trying to launch their boats, I think I may launch from Caddo. I have had word from Mickey that the Diamond Shamrock does not open untile 7:00 for you that need minnows and were planning on stopping there. I'm going to stop in Branch but that is on my way and if you thought my directions were bad telling you where the park is don't even think about how bad it would be for me to tell you where Branch is. I don't know if I will even sleep tonight, just can't wait to see and meet all of you. What a great day we have ahead of us. See you in the morning, and I dare say not a crappie in the 380 area will be safe from this crew. Sharon

It was great meeting all of you out there! I had a lot of fun and the fish were yummy! We need to make the next one a tourney! My buddy rick and I ended up coming back with about 23 fish. All cats with the exception of 2 crappie and one white bass. The biggest crappie was 1 pound 8 oz. We also caught and released a 30 pound and a 10 pound blue cat. I have pics on my web site if you want to take a peek. Hope to see you all again real soon!

A great big THANK YOU from Sally and me for your hospitality and for allowing us to attend and to give out some samples of FiZ. It was a real pleasure to meet everyone and to be able to put some faces with names on the TFF.

I hope that y'all will find that FiZ is a useful tool in putting more fish in the boat and that you will share your experiences with it here on the TFF or with me by email address on my profile.

We are getting FiZ into more and more retail shops and I have listed some of them on some posts on the bass pages, but if you can't find FiZ and want to buy some, drop me an email and we'll figure out how to get some coming your way.

What a crowd! And the get-together was very well done! Congratulations to both Sharon Wilson and Mike Covington for putting this together and the tremendous afternoon feed! It was a hungry bunch after a tough day of fishing and the eats were top notch! Thanks a ton, Sharon and Mike.

Thanks to Don the Angler and John Varner for the great company aboard the Angler's boat. We managed to put together some fish after "stumping" a few locations. It was a great time with you two guys on the water. John's better half, Amie drove up from Mesquite to join us for the feed.

Good to see Bug-a-Bass (Greg) and Linda there. Fishin'Clyde, SgtMajor, Sasquatch, Lynn Storey (Lynyrd), Kelly (duck-jerky) with his banged up knee, Greg (Roguewave) and his banged up knee and head, James Moove, David Lee and his fishin' bud's Donny and Chad brought in a nice string of fish, Jerry Toombs, Scott Bursik hit the catfish hard and turned in a really nice black crappie, and it was good to see Dr. Fiz and his better half Sally there today as well. I know I left out a bunch of people...

Jon, who helped coat the fish fillets before frying, MikeC's brother who helped with the cooking and who pitched in and showed up to this event such a great success. It was a lot of fun and one darn good turn-out.

Hope everyone made it back home safely and get plenty of sleep tonight

Sharon and MikeC thanks for organzing and pulling off a great event and feed. Very good turnout. Too bad didn't many craps show up.

It was also nice seeing and talking to some familiar faces and placing some new faces with screen names.

What a fine group of people you are and there is no way an event could turn out as well as this one did if you weren't. Everyone made it what it was. My hat is definatey off to MikeC. He worked very hard and put so much effort into organizing this. Sasqatch, thankyou for our little door prizes, and I hope James puts his lights to good use that he won from MikeC. Next year with what we all learned in organizing this we will be even bigger and better. Thanks also to the Fiz Pres, it was very nice of him and his wife to stop buy, pass out some samples,and answer questions about fiz. Sorry some of you weren't able to make it, hope everything is alright. Sharon

sure wish i coulda been there that sounded like, a more fun way of adding color to the ol red neck than that ol tractor auction happing in rice.
