 Absolute Beating on Joe Pool Today

Man what a beating it was today. First time in a few weeks I had to get on the lake so me and my buddy hit it but man I should have stayed home. Wind was absolutely howling and cold, lake was rough, fish werent biting at all....was a brutal day to say the least. I wasnt even marking many fish on my graph either....Ive got to figure out what these fish are doing or its going to be a long cold winter....
First time Ive actually had my trolling batterys feel weaker from being on the trolling motor so much at such a high power setting.

I sure was hoping for a few fish or bites.....didnt expect to go get em but had a pretty good plan and it did not pan out at all lol I hear you brother... I've taken a beating the past three days - not a bite...

that's the worst, when the wind blows you off the lake and the fish are nowhere to be found.... been there, man...

Yeah you know the wind sucks when your absolutely casting as hard as you can a 3/4 oz carolina rig is only going 30-40 yards lol that's the worst, when the wind blows you off the lake and the fish are nowhere to be found.... been there, man...

Between a tourney, me, and my buddy Shaun. I haven't heard of a fish being caught out of JP in the last 3 days.

good to know im not the only one that had bad luck!!! I had some good fish showing on the graph but couldnt stay in the area I needed to get over them because of the wind!

My buddy caught a 3lbr on dropshot and i Had a 4 lbr sunday at sundown on a jig same spot one after the other shallow lol

What part of the lake did you try? I live right on the north shore of the lake but have not been out yet. I got my boat registered finally but still need to get the numbers for it.

I was on a few of the main lake humps and hit a few coves near the second bridge. then hit some of the trees before the end of the day. What part of the lake did you try?
