I went by my Subway in Snyder this morning and....WOW!! MaryLou had been by playing Santa Claus. My camera's out of whack so I can't post a picture of my gift right now, but what a beautiful new crappie rod!! 7' Spinning with cork grip and "The Sandwich Maker Rod" printed on the butt end.
Anyone who's never had the priviledge of owning a Cross Timbers Custom Rod doesn't know what they're missing.
My Christmas got here early.
Thanks to a very good friend and a special lady.

Got my Cross Timbers Rod about 3 years ago and it is always with me...  Fine craftsmanship (craftwomanship), Mary Lou knows her stuff when it comes to putting a crappie rod together....  Merry CHRISTmas to all....  Matthew

I had my custom rod built by Slab have an incident today and need it repaired. It was a Father's Day gift for me and well into triple digits on cost. I use it almost exclusively for my jig fishing and is St. Croix as well, with my handle on here engraved on the rod.
Anyone seen CV(SlabMeSilly)? I'm in much despair right now, as it's my favorite rod. I just want it repaired.
Hate to have to purchase another rod, as it has hauled in a ton of crappie, a few big bass, and even a catfish or two on jigs.
Thanks for any help.

If you cant find slabmesilly on here, your needin more than a rod repaired!
