Deadsticking is dropping a slab or soft bait straight down, usually all the way to the bottom this time of year and just barely move it, let it sit still for 4-5 seconds and move slowly again. I had good luck at Texoma with the slab but a lot of folks are using flukes with jig heads.

The swells rolling over the area where the 40 foot water begins, should be pretty stout today with the north wind.

I think you should fish tomorrow, but then again I would fish everyday if I could. I have been out when it was nice and when it was nasty and did good both times. I say give it a shot.

Very nice catch...was there the same day but couldn't get the big ones to bite. Hopefully Hubbard is starting to wake up.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think I'll ever figure out how to catch fish on Hubbard. Maybe I should take up bowling or darts hmmm
