Me and my two boys (9 & 11) booked a guided trip with my neighbor Crappie 1 this morning. We caught 124 crappie with 30 solid keepers on a half day trip on Lake Granger. We caught (lots of) fish in 4 to 16 feet of water and all on 1/32 Maribou Wal-mart jigs using a unique weighted rig Tommy has developed. We probably fished 12 to 15 different locations over brushpiles (both brush and crappie condos) all over the lake. The larger fish came on the condos Tommie has built. He also fileted all the keepers and bagged them for us before his afternoon trip with another client. Here are some pictures I posted of a few of the fish my sons caught! He posts frequently on the forum here. We had a great time.

Those are some nice looking white crappie! Looked like there were a lot of smiles going on, too.

I agree Mark...You no he's an Aggie too...and so am I by the way. During his months off from guiding(Nov. Dec.), I asked Tommy to do a little bass fishin with me on Fayette County and Bastrop. He showed me a couple of spots for bass on Granger and I took my boat out and tried them on Sunday and caught three. Pretty good for a Crappie lake...LOL
