I didn't know there were freshwater whales. Wow!  What other fish did you catch??? How many on the day?? I have a trip with Mickey Dec. 19th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait, and this is getting me even more excited!

I cant wait, and this is getting me even more excited! We caught a few others in the sub-teens. But my focus was not on catching a lot of fish. I specifically asked for this to be a learning trip to teach those boys how to fish for the giant cats, and that we would release everything. Already have a freezer full of channel thanks to suggestions from this forum. I really appreciate Steve's patience to go over every detail with the boys, from casting the net for baitfish, how to rig the poles and even knots to use, how to use the electronics - what to look for and when, how to hook and land those monsters, etc., etc. Quite evident his techniques work. Best of luck on your trip!
