Are they for real or just another gimmick?

You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have fishing lures with a frickin' laser beams attached to their heads!

This is my thought... I have never seen a pro fish with the following during a Tourney... Helicopter lure, Flying Lure, Banjo Minnow or any other gimmick lure.
I have seen them fish and place with the Lazerlure. Do I have one, no. I wouldn't think they would risk such big prize $$$ if they didn't believe in them.
Just my 2 cents.

Go

I've bought 2, @ $20+dollars each. Kay wanted them, so we gott'um.. I think it was during the Legends tournament at Fork, they had a booth and they caught Kay.
She fished it for a lil while, never caught anything on it.

I'm not big on gimmick type lures, so I would have no use for it.

Since the above pros were probably sponsored by them, they most likely had to fish with them.

I was wondering the same thing as well... I probably would say gimmick for two reasons. 1) You never hear of anyone winning tournaments with these baits. 2) The bait is expensive, and I just do not see how a red lazer will give you any advantage over a bait with a better quality paint job with red hooks.

You guys can say gimmick all you want to, but here is the last fish I caught on the Banjo Minnow. I am definitely not leaving the house without it! Long live the BANJO!!!!!

I bought two LazerLures at the end of July this year. A top water and a crankbait, i have used both of them quite a bit, during both night and day, and have absolutely nothing to show for my $40! hahah The lures come with red hooks on them, but i did notcie that in one of the latest bassmaster mags that Boyd Duckett did have one tied on, but had his hooks changed to the reg color.
