03' F150. Yesterday the truck just die at red light and the anti-theft ligth start blinking and truck cranking but no fire then I turn the key from off to on about 5 time then the Anti-theft light stop blinking and the truck run again. Today I did use a diferrent keys and it dose the same think again. What would go wrong with it? Do I have to get it to Reprogram or Reset the PCM or PATs and all the keys? Or any think I would look for before I take to dealer to check it out.
Thank you.

What does your odometer say? If it does it and the odometer says(*******) (it is similar to this but my keyboard won't let me make the exact symbols). If it does then pull the pcm diode in the fuse box under the hood and wait a few seconds and plug it back in and it should start. This is the only times that I have seen a known good pats key not start a vehicle. Good luck and let me know how it went. I may have a plan B.

You might want to disconnect the battery for out 30 minutes then reconnect. Sometimes this will reset the computer back to factory. Don't know if this will fix the problem.

It could be the PATS and then maybe not. Do some searches on the f150 forums. If it is a PATS problem it should throw a code normally if it is the first sign is the odemeter showing all dashes. Here is a start. http://www.fordf150.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=72326http://www.fordf150.net/search/?cx=006282753923640923292%3Aet5lxsa1vrg&cof=FORID%3A9&q=PAT's#914 http://www.fordf150.net/search/?cx=006282753923640923292%3Aet5lxsa1vrg&cof=FORID%3A9&q=PAT's#914

You may have a control unit that is failing. Find an independent repair shop that has a good scan tool that is interactive. They will know as much as the dealer and cost you less. merry Xmas

We ran into this at our shop not too long ago. Believe it or not dirty battery terminals or a weak battery can and will cause this problem. Fords are notorious for the positive terminal getting a black crusty layer on it between the terminal and the cable clamp. I recommend you get a battery terminal cleaning brush, and take both cables off the truck and clean them to shiny metal and reattach. Take the Neg cable off first and put it back on last.
When in doubt SET THE HOOK!

Take it to Wally's tint on 1st and Kingsley in Garland. They are knowledgable and won't break the bank.
