I don't know why not. Put some Fiz or scent on them and I'd bet they produce... ------------------ [This message has been edited by redfin (edited 04-02-2003).]

YESSIREEEEE!!!!! With scent, without scent, fizz, fuzz, tipped or plain. Pitch them outside your light and let them swing in----hang on.

pitch and swing? im assuming thats a no reel retrieve. At sunset i couldnt get a bite on small roadrunners or beetle spins, but the live minnows worked. i reeled in slow ,but no bites. i even tried a small jerk bait with no hits. with all the baitfish action , i thought for sure they would hit artificial.

Hey Friscofishin, The fishingcoach and myself have had lots of luck using Black and Chartrus at sundown or at night. We both use all white or Blue and white during the day.Lake LBJ is stained with a green pollen layer.I tried the old blk and chts last night and had no luck.i dont thinkthe crappie can see the jig very well.So tried blue & white a caught a couple of nice ones.
