Dang! Those are some good size sun fish. They give a pretty good fight, especially on a Cars pole. Is that a private pond? I wish I could find a little place like that for my boy to catch some fat sun fish.

welcome aboard. & thats awesome. lb for lb them little boogers fight! sometimes they get to squirrely & end up getting off the line, that little guy did a good job gettin them in. those are big for sunfish

This was actually at Oakland Park in the Meadowbrook area of Ft. Worth. Used to be a good catch and release spot for the kids when there was a possession/consumption ban but when they lifted the ban a couple of years ago the "keep everything and throw it in a bucket types" kinda fished it out. As you can see, you can still catch a couple of good ones here and there.
