He was finally able to get off the ventilator yesterday. He has come a long way from where he was a few days ago. But, he has another BIG operation coming up after they get him back stable. David is one of the nicest and most polite young men out there. He is an ispiration to all of us with his attitude toward life and his love for fishing. Please remember David in your prayers.

Just got this message from the Facebook page they made for David.... Lord we just praise you and thank you for this great report we continue to pray that you pour your healing power down on David and strength for him and his family!
"They were successful in getting David reduce on the seditives. At 3 this morning they finally got him to rest and relax. We went in at 8 this morning and he was wondering where we had been. He is back to being David. He understands now what he has been through. The second questions was when can we go fishing???? He is back!!! Now we need to explain what else needs to be done. He wants to get this done I am sure so he can get back to living life." -Mrs. Cosner

pinesjunkie... He has a serious illness with his lungs. He's had it for several years, but continued to give it all he has on the fishing tournaments. He was awaiting surgery to remove the two lower lobes of his lungs that aren't functuning now. Just before the day of the surgery, he contracted an infection, caused by the two lower lobes not circulating oxygen or blood flow. They had to drain around a liter of fluids off of his lungs and put him on the ventilator. Now, they have gotten him on the road to recovery, only to be in shape for the next big step, the removal of those diseased lobes. There's a great story on him in the FLW Outdoors magazine. I wish I could find the link to it for you. He's one of my staff members and is just one great young man.
