Benbrook, Eagle Mountain, Grapevine, Ray Roberts, Lewisville. If you willing to drive a little further Ray Hubbard, and Tawakoni is a great Trophy Bluecat lake. I don't know anything about Lake Weatherford but I would guess it's got some kittys of it's own. Just depends on what your looking for.

welcome to the TFF. Look at Benbrook lake, Lake Worth, or Eagle Mountian. Lake Worth is catch and release only but they've got some good ones. If you don't mind driving a bit just west of Weatherford on Hwy 180 in Breckenridge is Hubbard Creek Lake and it's a good Catfish lake too.

Used to catch alot of "eaters" out of there. Havent fished it in a year or so.

One good thing about weatherford, it has a great population of gizzard shad.

Lake Worth is really good for cats (catch & release only though.) I believe a nice fella named: DeerStangler can tell you about Eagle Mountain just look at his signature. Lake Benbrook also has some nice cats. best ask Benbrook Lake Guide Kerry Dugan about that lake. I fished Weatherford less than a hand full of times so i don't really know much about it. but there is a guy by the name of: Bikeman that fishes that lake often. Kerry is offering $100 guided trips. it would be a great way to get to know the lake better from a pro!

I assume you are bank fishing? If so, you should be able to do pretty well at benbrook, from the bank you should try out in front of the RC airplane field on the NW side of BB, or if you dont mind walking a bit, you can fish on the dam side, which should produce quite well also.

Not a pro rolfmao just fortunate and get to fish more than some people

Just what some bank fisherman have been telling me, and ive seen some people pulling fish out of those areas from the bank using shad and also prepared baits.
