It is good to have friends in high places, thanks Chuck Rollins and Jim Legrande for a couple of timely phone calls that put me on fish that were being harassed by loons and gulls.
On the water by 8 and back at the house by 4:30, water temperature was 53.8 degrees, cloudy sky and variable winds.
Caught 14 legal hybrids at a couple of spots that varied in depth from 19' to 44' all fish caught on 4" sassy shad from Moe's in chartreuse on a 1 ounce chartreuse shad shaped head.
I did manage to catch several short hybrids, a few sand bass and 2 monster yellow bass.
Talked to Dennis Christian for a few minutes and visited with Jackie Kennedy at the ramp to settle it like men.

Hey Fastguy. Are you coming to the Christmas party? Can I get your autograph there? You should get some trading cards made. You are my hero. When I retire, I want to be just like you.

WHEN I RETIRE ??? George how old does he think you are? One leg in the grave and another one on a banana peel. stir

Sounds like you had a great day for fishing, cloudy skies, misty, a little too windy for me, but you put it together. I need to learn Cedar Creek, do you do any teaching? thumb

Congratulations on a good day!!!

Jackie is trying to calm Peanut down, after he saw my trailer he walked over to Jackie's and wizzed on the tire.
I seldom autograph things as they seem to end up on ebay.
Varner is working on a bobble head for me however.

Can anyone tell me where to catch shad on the South end of the lake near the dam? Is it best to catch them before sunrise? Thanks for any and all help. I am planning to come fish CC on Thursday.

Three questions
where do I buy the bobblehead? and
how do I attach the treble? in the front and back or just in the back?
Finally is it a diver or lipless.

The Christmas party would be an awesome place to unveil "The New Fastguy Bobblehead"!!

I guess I will have to call in sick to work just so I can be there for the unveiling!!

Several of us saw a preview of the fastguy wobblehead a couple of months ago. It had a rib bone in one hand and a coors light in the other.

Varner is good with the design work. Check his logo and george's

If JV would just design the new bobble head, double Trebble rib bone & coors holdin swim bait I think it would be very sassy. And speaking from a retailers point of view a huge seller. People would want Moe and Moe of them!
