Warning! Long post. Hi folks, with JP's approval, we are posting the
2010 TFF Neuve Tuna charter information to allow folks to prepare over the coming months.
You can thank those that called/emailed T.O.O. asking about Nueve Tuna for 2010 for this being put out so early.
We know it's a long way off, but we'd rather solidify a date now rather than scramble the last minute to find a date that works.
Here's how we'll need to make the
2010 TFF Nueve Tuna Charter happen:

too@outdoorstexas.comif you use Paypal, we have to require the 3.9% fee be added to the payment sent. Hate doing it, but we got to do it that way.
Payment Time Frame:$75 "earnest money" to secure and hold each spot, due
December 21st, 2009$200 deposit to finalize your spot(s) due
March 4th, 2010$400 Final Balance, due
October 22nd, 2010.
If someone wants to join the TFF Nueve Tuna Charter but needs to work out a payment schedule, call or email us and we'll work something out. We've done this so many times and are so flexible, we should be called Gumby instead of TOO.
What T.O.O. will need you to do to secure a spot or spots.1.
Post on this thread your commitment to the TFF Nueve Tuna Charter.
2. Also email us at
too@outdoorstexas.com committing to the TFF Nueve Tuna Charter. We'll need names to keep accurate records. Emergency contact numbers would be good as well at that time instead of having to ask for it later on.
As the March 1st, 2010 full deposit deadline approaches, we'll email everyone a
Term of Agreement & Waiver that is required to be signed and returned by everyone going on Nueve Tuna.
3. Send in your $75 hold deposit by
December 21st, 2009.
You'll then be good to go until March 1st, 2010,when the remainder of deposit will be due. After that date, you'll not have to worry about finances until October 22nd 2010, and know you have a trip coming up in early November 2010.
TFF Nueve Tuna Notes: We've implemented the security deposit due to some folks jumping on and claiming a spot, then not paying when deposits or final payments are due. We have to have a small commitment for these types of trips to make sure everyone is truly wanting to commit to this trip.
As always, if someone has to sell a spot, T.O.O. try to help out and find a buyer, however the selling process is ultimately up to the seller. We've been very successful in finding buyers when a spot was needed to be sold in years past, but it takes time from our responsibility to those going on the trip.
A PM will not work for securing a spot, feel free to PM us, but as those that have used our services know, we send group emails to those going on the charter to disseminate information and we need everyone's email addresses.
Sleeping on board for free the night before the charter is available as it was for Ocho Tuna.
We've agreed to have at least 20 fishermen, and F.W. really wants 23-24 fishermen for each trip. Cost is the same, but as F.W. is allowing us to book so early on the dates above without having a deposit ready, we will do as they ask. They continue to be very accommodating to the TFF folks, so we want to make sure they are happy as well.
Cost has gone up a bit mostly from our end, but what we have planned will be worth the increase. We backed off on making some of the things we wanted to happen for Ocho Tuna come to fruitation due to the changing roster, first time on the Scat Cat, and other factors, but for Nueve Tuna, we've gotten commitments for some really cool things. Expect some neat announcements starting in 2010.
We went with the Scat Cat based on the responses of those posting, and we're going with a November trip, let's see if we called it right weather-wise.
So to wrap this up, make sure the dates work for you, post up, email us, get the security deposit by the 21st, and you'll be set until March. Once we get that payment we work for you and we'll do whatever you need to make the trip a success.
As always, this is
your TFF 2010 Nueve Tuna trip, if there are any questions or comments do not hesitate to contact at
(210)215-3877 or email us at
too@outdoorstexas.com and we'll do our best to take care of your request.
