a guy i know is getting rid of a 96 17 ft champion with a 112 95 evenrude for $5500. i want a boat and was wondering if this is a good deal. it runs great, i have used it several times. it has 2 depth finders and all the normal stuff. what you think??

I sold a '97 181 Champ w/ 150 Merc EFI in Oct 2002 for $14,500. It was real clean and in top shape.
If this boat is in good condition, I believe you've got a very good price there.
