David has a facebook page called "Pray for David"...if you get on Facebook, you can type in "Pray for David" in the search box, ..and it will take you to the page...you can type in some well wishes for David...he's itching to get at his computer and he will be able to look at most of these very soon! He will be REALLY surprised at all of the support and well wishes! Thanks for all of your prayers! (David's Mom & Dad)

I am praying contiously. I sent out a prayer request and sent an invitation to join the Pray for David Facebook page to my contact list. I am looking forward to spending some time on the water with David when times are better. Hang in there buddy.

Just talking with him about the surgery the other day and all he wanted to talk about was fishing and Tellico Lakes...he was not concerned. That just shows how strong he is and his pure love of fishing! I am really praying hard this week for David!!!

When he called me the evening before the surgery, he just wanted to talk about fishing and the new baits. He said, "This is nothing and I'll call you tomorrow". I kept getting this sick feeling all weekend and thinking he would call when he got back on his feet. I am shocked and shaking now to know he is in this condition now. He's a fighter though and will pull through. Such a fine young man with the attitude and respect that I wish all the young men had these days. Prayers lifted for you my friend.

He is trying to get to the stage where they can remove his right middle and lower lobes to his lung. They have shut down on him and are just making infections. The hope is to get him stable enough where they can do that surgery. That will be another tough spot to hurdle. One step at a time for now.

Thanks for all your thoughts a prayers. They are working.....
