I doubt I will either, I am working down in the area next week so I am going to try to fix my schedule, so I either have the morning or afternoons free to fish.

I will probably spend this weekend tying up some real ugly flies, hopefully those hatchery guys might have some sight problems. smile

fished it all day saturday from 8 till sundown. Was freezing my nuts off, had water freezing on the eyes of my rod, and only caught one about 8in. Really disapointed me. Probably be out there again later in the week.

smile Reminds me of the old joke about the old man in the gas station who held a pistol on a customer, forcing them to drink some gawdawful moonshine. Once the customer had gagged it down the old man handed over the pistol "now, you hold it on me".

I'm headed up saturday after my last final.

Whoever decided it would be a great idea to make students take finals on a weekend should be shot. End of story.

I am planning on being out there tomorrow around noon. Any suggestions as where to go? I do not have the GRTU access currently.

Too funny!

Reminds me of the time I drank some fine quality, "Uncle Sherman's" moonshine. Our host produced four shot glasses and a jar of clear liquid. He poured modest shots which we drank.

He said, "You are now officially drunk!" Then he explained why he didn't have a shot.

The last time he did, he ended up shooting the Ohio river from his bedroom window. His wife, daughter and mother-in-law were not amused when he made it down to the breakfast table.

"It's not rocket surgery!"

The fishing has been good throughout the Trophy Zone. Since you are fishing sans GRTU pass, I would suggest 1) Action Angler 2) Rio Raft 3) Rainbow Camp. You can fee access at each.

Yesterday we had good fishing in the morning on various standard nymphs (hares ears, pheasant tails, black beauties, etc) and in the evening on streamers and swinging caddis emergers.

And, yes, it was cold on Saturday morning. I had left my wading boots in the back of my truck Friday night and they were frozen solid on Saturday morning. After it warmed up the fishing was good all day.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. All of my cold water experience has been out West, Montana, Washington and Oregon, I figured I would give it a shot and see how I like it "down south" before doing the lease access.

The frozen boot/wader thing blows, I have spent many a morning shoving my feet into frozen boots. To much time in the field in the Army. smile
