The wife and I are headed out to Biloxi Mississippi this Sunday, but we are headed toward Gulf Shores Alabama first.

We are going to hang out in Gulf Shores for a couple of nights, then head on to Biloxi for a couple of night. No fishing planned for those nights, but we will scout out future night time piers. What can I say, we love fishing at night on the gulf.

Maybe I will get on a hot machine or run at the poker/craps table in Biloxi that will pay for the trip.

Hot gambling = new fishing gear. You sound as if your wife may agree. If so - she's a keeper!!! BTW, there are 24 hours in a day - plenty enough for gaming AND fishing.

Before leaving we called the pier and they haven't been catching any fish there lately. According to them there was only one person fishing on that huge pier last night.

We have decided to delay the trip until next spring. If I want to fish without catching anything, I can do it here, not after making a 1,000 mile trip, there and back, and spending a ton of money.

Maybe by then 61st in Galveston will be up and running.

About the wife, she is a keeper.

I thought fishing was a way to get away from the wife and have some alone time away from the wife. Not take her with you.

Consider yourself lucky. Cause I have never met a girl yet that likes fishing. As a matter of fact most girlfriends I have had hated the idea of fishing and the other ones did not care for fishing at all.
