okieyakker Outdoorsman O Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 167 Lake Texoma	and trim the hook guards down on the cheaper jigs, they always seem to be way to tall. I leave about 3/16 of an inch above the hook. I may hang a few more up in cover doing that but I think I miss less fish. What was that?

Try and keep contact with the ground. Throw a football head jig! My jig fishing has gone throw the roof over the past 2 months because of more confidence in the bait!
