Me too but I also sink willow and begin fishing them about a week after I put them out. I've seen them hold fish the next day in some cases.

THAT DOES IT!!!! IM moving to cedar creek. Chuck if you see 2 fat dudes following you around in a blue skeeter with binoculars that will be me and my brother . I cant take it no more.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

You all at Cedar Creek are truly blessed with a world class crappie fishery.

Fisheries studies show that crappie will begin using cedar trees almost immediately in cooler water temperatures. The cooler temperatures tend to slow the release of the oils and needles.

I still prefer willows though, as long as the beavers leave them alone.

These take less time to build and put out.......
Takes at least 24 hrs for the concrete to set up good...

These take more time but at Navarro Mills I have caught lots of crappie off them...

Tall boo takes the most time & you have to build them when there is NO wind....

Just build it and they will come....
My 2 cents....

Crappie fishing... what else is there ??

I prefer PVC. No hangups.
