Limited wind today got me out of the house and onto LL about 9. Fished till 3 PM primarily around the new bridge. Depths from 18-25 and no takers. Marked fish but only a few bumps, no fish caught. Cold for sure but limited wind made it a pleasant day on the water in any event.

Dang sorry to hear that. Cold...You got that right. Went out there to try some new jig heads I powder coated and man was it cold. Got there at 4p.m and fished till almost 6pm. Caught 2 fish and missed a few. One small and one @ 12 inches. Marked the water temp @ 52 degrees. Boy its getting cold. Don't know why I went, but when you got something new you wanna try....It's hard to not go...LOL. Oh well, I hope we have better luck next time.

If the surface temp was 52 degrees, I bet I can tell you guys why you didn't catch anything.......my bet is the lake has 'turned', but haven't been there lately, so won't know for sure until I go.

Guy - thanks for the insight. In some locations in the north end of the lake, I found surface temperature of only 47F. If the lake recently did a full turn, I agree this would explain things. They are probably scattered all over the place trying to find the right mix of food, temperature and oxygen levels.

Make in a couple of weeks, things will improve.
