Well, all that luck or ability fish catchen doesn't make me feel good at all. My grandson and I took my new Lund Crappie Edition and I caught 1 little blac bass shorter than your hand on a Roadrunner in about 2 feet of water about half way back in a creek. We went to the very rear of one creek and had no action. Another fisherman said they had caught 2 crappie right up against the grass. The wind was really fun to make me keep changing the speed of the trolling motor, especially since I am learning to run the new remote Motor Guide 75 lb. The water was over 68 degrees in Houston Co. Lake.

I got blanked on Ray Roberts for the second weekend in a row. Fished the pillars of the 3002 bridge, went Northwest of there in the standing trees in 30 ft, 16ft, 12 ft, and finally went to the coves to hit the shallow waters.... Nothing but painted turtles swimming around..

I'm one Very Frustrated Crappie fisherman.. Good thing the Sandies were hitting.. I slayed them for about 3 hours

I caught 10 on Lake Conroe, 6 keepers and 4 throw backs. 3 of 6 keepers were right at 16 inches.

Just now being able to get back to fishin, rough time last year. Tried to creek fish this weekend I finally caught 1 keeper & several small ones. I am suppose to walk 3 miles a day, I guess I'll keep trying the creeks just hard fishing, not much water. Guy, I'll keep trying just glad to be trying!! I'd walk a mile for a few to eat. I think she changed my e-mail I have to check.
