The great Duck Jerky and I are going to Fork in the morning. Has anyone been fishing the 154 bridge since last Saturday when I was there last?? I want to know if the crappie are still hanging out under that bridge or any bridge.

Might be a tough row to hoe with this cold front. If the wind is blowing tomorrow like it is now the lake could be kinda rough.

One thing I will tell ya,better keep one eye on DJ.If the fish cooperate he'll have the livewell full before ya know it!

I'm sure James won't have a problem with the wind in that boat, might be a problem getting under the bridge though. Sharon

My wife, son and I fished two brief afternoons this week under 154--I think Monday and Wednesday. We were only there from about 5 till dark. Caught about a dozen with half decent fish on Monday. Caught over a dozen Wednesday with nearly all throw backs. We and most others favored the South end. We saw other fish caught in the same area Wednesday---nearly all throw backs.

I too am wondering if this cool front might send some bigger ones back that way.

Good Luck,
DannyB

I had some free time this morning, so I did a little graphic work and came up with that.

We caught about twenty under the 154 bridge Sudnay afternoon in about an hour and a half just before sundown. But only two were keepers---10.001 inch stretching the tails and lips.

I bet the good ones are in the creeks.

Countin' the swells, they was probably 26-feet deep...the swells were 6-feet anyway

James, take your rock and roll music with you so you'll be in-sync with the wave action once you get there...yeeeeHAAAAAAA!

Wife & I did the 515W bridge pilings Sunday. Cold all day until around noon, that's when the bite seemed to start for us. #4 piling is where we killed 'em. All on minnows. Probably got bewteen 40-50 in 3 hours. Wife also got a 5# LMB, had one other one bend her pole double that she was able to fight for about three minutes before it decided to head south with her minner, and I had one flash at the top after a small crappie I was landing, appeared to be 5-7#. Next time I'll have a jiggin spoon dangling from my hat, just in case. We were fishin in 32-34', fish were schoolin thru at about 20-24, and the water temp at the time we packed it in was a little over 58.
