Hi All, Me and ManWithNoBoat are gonna be out
on RayBob in the morning. Gonna be working the
COE brushpiles and possibly some standing timber
N of Wolf island.
Any one else gonna be out there? It should be
a nice cool late Sept day (should be- but it ain't).

I hear someone left an anchor out there on one
my favorite piles. Anyone paying reward money
for the safe return of their anchor wink .

-Don't get yur shorts twisted- I didn't name any
names (yet)!

I wasn't gonna mention any names. Just couldn't
pass up the chance for a little good natured fun.

As far as the gas pump thing, My event was only
$30.00 for a new fender cover and one bearing
protector dohickey (another 10 bucks). Plus it
made me repack the bearings which is a good
thing to do now and then.

Did not see your anchor today, wind was light,
temp was HOT, and the fishies were biting.

Brought home 22 keepers, tossed back twice as
many defective ones (tails too close to their
heads). Musta caught at least 10 LMB 1 to 3lbs.,
and several nice kitties.

And, went for a swim (on purpose wink ).

MWNB even hung around long enough afterwards
to help me wash the boat.

You guys with weekends off need to play hookey
now and then on the weekdays, I didn't see but
1 or 2 other boats out Crappie fishing today.
Did explore some different brush piles that I don't
normally fish, they had larger fish as they
probably get less fishing pressure.

I won't get in between the anchor and gas pump deal because I need friends with boats, or least people with boats who think I'm their friend.

Today was 99 degrees at DFW airport. Apparently, the record high for today was also 99 set back a few decades ago. Those funny looking floppy hats with the big bills come in handy.

I didn't have any luck with jigs. Sniper said I was using the wrong color. Of course, he knows Ernest just grabs any color.

Funny thing though, we tested a few other brush piles and would catch 1 to 3 crappie real quick then no bites at all. I guess my purple jig scared them off.

Sniper must have tangled his lines 5 times. I couldn't help but laugh and I hauled in the fish while he was untangling. I gave him credit though. I do want to go fishing again.

Good day fishing. But it's always good.

Just get er done

Yo, OSB, you can delete that -double post-
by clicking on the pencil/paper icon on the
right side of your post and follow the
directions to delete it.

Speaking of doubles- MWNB had at least
2 double hookups today with 2 crappies
on 1 pole, then another with 1 crappie and
1 LMB caught at the same time.

I had my share of tangles today confused

:p well...glad to hear you got to fish. I was working and sleeping today (not at the same time though). I'm glad we cancelled the Texoma trip as it is way too hot to catfish. I also heard you swim like a sissy boy? rolfmao . Sniper..between the two of us we have enough stories to tell that'll make everyone here laugh their butts off. I'll keep my mouth shut. Also, I won a bid on Ebay for the exact same anchor I lost. For only 25 bucks! S/H included! Now I just need to bid on a minnow bucket like the one I lost..oops...another story laugh
