Just took my H20c out of storage...it sat unused in original package for 3 year.
The unit will not locate its current position. It's picking up multiple signals but doesn't seem to be working. Everything seems to work except it will not identify the current location.
I've gone through the soft restart and hard restart and still get nothing. I've removed/replaced batteries. Used the 12V battery adapter. Nothing seems to make a difference. Software is current.
Any suggestions on what else do?

You do have it outside and not indoors? Also, first time it attempts to pick up satillittes it takes longer. Otherwise, no clue.

Yep outside. Even drove into town holding it outside above the cab of the truck.

mine will do that if I have moved it a long distancewith it off. I am always able to resolve by watching the sattellites pick up then turning off and back on immediately. Sometimes i have to do this 2 or 3 times before it will lock onto a position. Moving the unit while it is searching also helps it lock faster for me.
sounds like you may have already done these things though
hope it helps

So, since I can't get this thing to work, I'm now considering purchasing something compatible with the navonics chip that I had just bought...
Any recommendations?
I'm tempted to pick up another H20, but I'm worried about something like this happening again.
