for me secret 7 or a good punchbait
some say chicken livers are excellent too

Man I carry out secret 7, sureshot, lewis king, big marvs, dk blood, original, garlic, ckn liver, worms and shrimp for channels. On any given day one will clearly outperform the others. Job one is to find the fish by using chum and baiting multiple holes. Based on 2009 if I had to pick only one bait to take it would be liver and second place would be secret 7.

Secret 7 would be my first choice. Second would be a good punch bait such as Sure Shot or Big Marv's. I've heard some good reports about Mr. Whisker's, CJ's and Bill Roger's punch baits, but have never tried them.

this has got to be the most LOADED question of this year.. no disrespect is intended but when i fished with david he was sponsered by danny kings so was bro terry and bobby..and all posted dk's greatest stuff on planet earth..now they are sponsered by someone else or not sponsered,talking to terry and having fished with david they could probably both catch a limit with peanut butter sandwiches...i truly believe it is about knowing what the fish are doing at that specific time.jmo

Nothing has outfished my Sonny's dip bait in the past 5 yrs. for channel cats. I have tried just about everything on the market at one time or another also.
