Went this afternoon to Grapevine with my daughter for a couple of hours and only managed a few sand bass. Could tell folks were trying for crappie. Water temp at surface was over 60 degrees.

Going tomorrow to Cedar Creek for some serious fishing wink

Hint...the closer you hold a crappie to the camera the bigger it gets. laugh

You know what distinguishes the difference between the Classified section and any other Discussion section on this Forum? Nothing. About the same amount of 'BS' going on in both.

No doubt....luckily that one was legit. Here's a stringer with the big female on the front...she dang near covers the top half. If only I'd have caught here versus my buddy. I'd have mounted her for the wall...he mounted here between a hoagie roll on a crappie sandwich...

I caught my biggest crappie so far today. She went just a bit over 2lbs. She made all of the others look like perch, lol. It was a good day today.

I agree! that is why I froze the male and female to do a stringer mount or some kind of cool scene later. I want to build a mini shrine to these awesome great tasting fish!! flehan
