My latest letter to Direct TV:
I am a fisherman. I enjoy watching fishing programs. Unfortunately, Direct TV broadcasts much more hunting programming than fishing. The imbalance is so great that there is even a HUNT tv channel. Is there a FISH tv channel? Many people have asked Direct TV to air the World Fishing Network. Yet, Direct TVs only response is " we have no plans to air WFN". It was bad enough in the past, then Direct TV stopped broadcasting "VS", which carried the majority of the few fishing programs broadcast by Direct TV.
There are more licensed fisherman in the USA than hunters. You people are always looking at the numbers. If there are more fisherman than hunters, then there are more fisherman to watch TV.
Get with the program; show more fishing!
By the way: you don't broadcast VS anymore, which means you lowered your cost. Did you lower mine?

Dish Network has the World Fishing Network. I dont know if Direct TV has that channel or not!

My experience has been DishNetwork has better programming, golf/fishing/... and is cheaper than Direct TV.

Make the switch we just did from direct to dish no regrets the wfn and got versus back. Oh ya and the dvr is awesome.

I have Dish but cant get WFN. I guess its not available in the metro mess

there is more hunting than fishing shows right now because it.s hunting season.....rick I wish this was true but the imbalance is year round. I know; this has been a pet peeve of mine and I have done my research. I used to have Dish Network. When I wanted to upgrade to HD, Dish Network wouldn't work with me. Direct TV gave me everything for free. Unfortunately, Direct TV doesn't have WFN and then they dropped VS.

Kudos Rayzor,
I have written and complained to Direct TV also,
VS is my favorite channel also. I told them as soon as my contract ends in Feb they can pick up there equipment because im going with Dish.
Thank god for Honey hole fishing and Southwest outdoors.

WFN is only on Dish with the HD package.
