Hitting the creeks in the morning, I hope. Does anyone know how much water is in the creeks or how far back in the creeks I can get?

There's some water in Denton Creek, at least between 377 and the lake. Where 35W crosses it, it's pretty dry.
I think you can get pretty far west of 377 and still find water.

Denton was way slow Friday evening at sundown using jigs under poppin' cork (Jigums). A few small hits, but didn't get alot of time to go far and stayed E of 377. May try W of 377 near the utility towers next time.

Going to MS tomorrow and fishin the best carppie lake (RossBarnett) that I lived off there when working for the NWS. Now if the weather will just cooperate.
