Deja vu again. The largest LMB caught on Fork in 7 years was caught on Thanksgiving day fishing for crappie 15.69 lbs.

INELIGIBLE because he was crappie fishing?
What a crock.
I thought the sharelunker program was for promoting breeding of large fish.
Glad it's back in the water.
It looks like the one Anthony saw when we were there last summer.

Zactly Mack. What difference would it make how it was caught? I hate red tape in government programs. Nice fish and I am glad she is back in the lake.

Funny how you can accidentally hook a fish in the mouth and land it. Still nice fish though.

Wow....nice one.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

I don't live for the thump, but I sure do like it.

I'm thinking he hooked a small Crappie or Barfish and then the Bass ate the fish. Ineligible because it was caught on a gamefish.

Caught, released and died. It may have been put back, but I don't believe it lived. Look at the eyes bulging from its head. The others organs were distended as well.

Awesome fish. I hope she has lots of a offspring swimming around.

I also read it was ineligible for Share-a-lunker because it was caught on gamefish. So I think New Texan is right, and the LMB hit whatever crappie the guy had on his hook at the time. Still a heck of a fish, though.
