I am going to take dear old dad crappie fishing tomorrow morning at Lake Grapevine. He is 77 and won't come out with me that often anymore.
I have one good hole over in Twin Coves, but I haven't been over there in about 6 weeks and I am afraid that the crappie are going to be deeper than that hole affords.
Any words of advice? How deep are the crappie running right now? I sure would like to put dear old dad on some fish.

Well it was a nice thought.. Got out there this morning and the boat wouldn't start despite the fact that it started in the driveway before we left. What is it they say the two happiest days of your life are?
