Hi any one going to purtis creek this weekend / We are going dowm firday nite . will be amping and fishing, I fish out of a alumacraft boat if you see me give me A shout later Raleigh

Would you tell me your past experience in this fishing lake? I am a bank fishman (can wade into water, have no boat)-- How good can it be for bank fishing? Is the lighted fishing pier very white and very bright in the night? Thanks

fished purtis creek a couple years ago and had a blast. we fished from the camping side pier toward the trees and caught huge bass. on goldfish for bait. all catch and release but a lot of fun. also has quality cats and perch. have fun, john

Hi aolaol The bank fishing at purtis is very good of the dam or off of the piers, we have caught lots of big bass and also some good crappie , its also a good cat fish lake later Raleigh
