How do yal fish docks floating over deep water? I'm talking about 20-35ft water. Floating boat docks, the bank is rocky and slopes down about 45 degrees.

I usually fish with a weightless worm or lite weight shakey head and just let the bait get down below the bottom of the floating structure and work it back to the boat.

You can slow roll a spinnerbait, Fluke/Swimbait on a leadhead jig or shallow cranbait right down the sides just below the floats.

Or fish a crank down the slope and through the mouth of the dock.

you'll have to tune 2 crankbaits, one to go under each side...
Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.

If it's clear enough, a Pop-R worked painfully slow can be deadly. Used to be the ticket on the south end of PK.

Flipping a big jig or finness jig right up against the dock, they will kill it as soon as it gets below the dock. Good fishing.

finesse worm and flukes. I fish the docks the same way in 10 foot or 50 foot of water.
What was that?

Rather throw a Texas rig 10 inch worm towards the bank close to the boat house. An just think you can go to the backside of boat house, the drop should be easy to find you should be able to use all kinds of baits in that area.Deepwater close to shallow water is the way to go,the boat house cant be that far off the bank.Fish all a round the boat house till you find the fish, they will be some where around that area for sure if not plant some brush piles there.I would be all over that spot.

Wow! No one mentioned the Drop shot!!! If the fish are just under the dock I will use a fluke or jig. But if you want to see if there are fish on the bottom, the Drop shot is the way to go.
