I have fished with Alton Jones.He is very friendly ,likes to tell stories and cut up and he is a good Christian family oriented man.

Had the opportunity to visit with Mike Iaconelli after last years elite on Amistad. I should say my 10 year old visited with Ike while I stood and listened. He is great with kids regardless of his antics. He's good for the sport especially the younger ones.

I met KVD at bass pro before the okley tourny this year. We talked about his AOY win. For a guy who is on top of the sport he was a super cool guy. Took the time to talk with me about his many visits to fork. He gave me some tips on fishing the kingshad and the red eye shad baits. After the conversation I had to go walk off a situation......lol

Talked with/sat next to Rick Clunn at a a basketball game back in the early 90's. His daughter and my daughter were playing each other at a tournament in Grapeland. Great guy just a little different.

Fished with Doug Garrett boater in the top 150, 2 times Mega-bucks Champion back in the day, seemed a little high on himself, talked all day about one of his sponsors dropping him.

Fished with Rick Morris my boater in the top 150, ran 70+ miles one way to Venice, LA we got one bite between us, I caught an 8 lb flounder. Rick kept it and ate it for supper that night, he said we came this far I am going to get something out of it. Great guy and great to be around has a blast.

My wife and I ate dinner with Denny Drauer and his wife in New Orleans, he is a good of guy you would want to know.

I know, very well most of the girls on the WBT, my wife fishes it. Have drank many a beer with several of them, cooked steaks for some of them, helped them re-tie and get tackle together.

Fished with Matt Herren a few days on the Red River last year. "Dude is an Animal with a flipping stick"

I got to talk to Gary Klein for about half an hour. Wanted to ask him about tournament fishing. The guy was so patient and helpful and I was the one who broke off the conversation so I didn't waste too much of his time.He was very encouraging and extremely friendly.

Bought my current boat from Alton Jones. What a great guy!

Met Denny Brauer a few years ago. Super nice guy. Autographed a hat for me. Met Gary Yamamoto 2 days ago. Great Guy. Met Jimmy Houston after a seminar several years back. He is hilarious, and very, very nice.

I met Johnny Morris in a restaraunt one time, REAL nice guy!

Personally friends with Jay Yelas, great guy, great family, awesome role model. Ive also fished with Shaw Grigsby, Mark Davis, and James Niggemeyer. All were great guys. Learned so much.

& a great hunter to boot!!
