 Soaking your dead shrimp in Tea???

ok i was fishin last nitead these ppl were fisin with dead shrimp soaked in store bought tea... has anyone ever tried this before?? just wonderin bcuz i didnt get to see if it worked good or not becuz noone was catching anything last nite...also there was a asian couple there using raw pork and chicken cut in small cubes as bait.. suprisingly the caugh most of the fish bieg caught.. not fish to brag about but they were catchin fish while everyone else wasnt

I'd boil those shrimp instead of soaking them in tea - that way if the fish are not biting you won't go hungry. Bring along some ice tea to go with the boiled shrimp !!
