the way i see it, is that you are paying out the butt for one, and you really only have use for it two or three months out of the year. But then again i have heard of guys that have won there money back using them in tourneys

My new boat has one, here's my take. Spring is the absolute best big fish time of the year, and sight fishing is one of the best methods of catching big fish in the spring. The money you'll spend on it is nothing to the money you can win with it.

I have had one for a year. In my opinion they are definately worth they money. They are not just for spring time. If your in shallow water you will find ways to use it. Boat positioning and being able to stay of the trolling motor will get you a couple more bites. Will also help from getting scratch's on your boat when your docking or beaching. Get the 8' model. The 6' is just to short for bass fishing. Highly recommend calling Tommy at Rockwall Marine 972-771-4442. They will make sure you get exactly what you need and do a first class job on installing.

with mystyle of fishing, i rarely have a use for one other than sight fishing. But i do like mine alot. Go with the 8' model.

I have have one.... been on the boat two years and I love it. Broke it in a storm which was my fault completely. Power Pole warranteed all the parts without a hastle. Great product and a great company!

i fished as a co-angler this year and i fished in boats that had them. they are very nice. i fished with arnie lane in rayburn and the first day the wind was 20+ and we were fishin in 12 foot of water and he put down the power poles and was draggin the grass. they definetly came in handy

Have the 8' pro with remotes. I will never own a bass boat with out one. Love it.
