Hey guys, I was wondering.. do any of you put a small drop-shot on the hair an inch or two behind the hook to help the hook point turn down? Or will that not work? I was looking at my rigs, trying to see where they need improving.. I'll also be making some KD rigs and some blow-back rigs pretty soon. I've been having problems with hook-ups I believe.. we get a lot of action but not too many hook-ups. Thanks in advance.

yeah JJ I was having great results by just putting a firm drop/swan shot one inch from the hook It makes the hook land better in the bottum lip..and it also makes the hook turn to a better position for maximum hookups The only problem is that you have some times that it tangles up..so 2 swanshots one more further down the hooklink was better on the cast ( it also makes the hooklink lay on the bottum just like leadcore)
