I just moved here from the coast. I fished Saltwater my whole life. I have really took intrest in crappie fishing any advise or tips on where and how on lake sommerville would be greatly appreciated.

crappierookie... I have fished Somerville several days over the last 3 weeks and it is a good lake for LMB, Crappie and White Bass. The pier at the State Park is a good place if you want Crappie or Bream. Bass around the marinas. If you have a boat, email me and I will try and help.

Red top we have been doing a little better since we found a few brush piles the fish we have caught have been all around 10am to 12 pm.
