Hello everyone I am new to the TFF. I was wondering if anyone fishes for crappie at Medina Lake, and if so do they have any "pointers". Thank!

BassTracker- I have fished Medina lake (Thousand Trails member) But have never fished for Crappie to say. I hear it is good but no pointers to offer. Perhaps we can hook up sometime and go out and try and catch some. fish

Bass,

I lived in S.A. 5 years ago and I fished Lake Medina some. I was limited to the banks and piers but I alway caught fish. I dont know if it is still in business but there was a marina called "The Marina @ Lake Medina", up by the dam. Their boat pier stretched way out into the lake. At the front of it was 10' of water and the end it was about 60'. I use to limit out on crappie in the winter on this pier. And in the summer, we would limit out on hybrids at night. Hope this helps.

RG
